Full Day Fitzroy Island Tour

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s most famous natural wonders, and on this day-long tour, you’ll get to experience a beautiful little slice of it. Fitzroy Island is one of the thousands of tiny islands that pepper the reef, and its collection of stunning beaches and lush rainforest scenery make it the perfect place to explore.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn more about the unique ecosystem of the Great Barrier Reef and explore some of the main attractions. The beaches are a popular part of the island, with soft white sands and clear shallows inviting you in. As well as relaxing on the shores, you can upgrade to a kayaking tour, or go snorkelling to experience the colourful underwater world.

There’s so much to explore on Fitzroy Island from land to sea, including self-guided walks through the magnificent forests that flank the island.

Departing from Cairns, this full day tour takes you to Fitzroy Island on an air-conditioned catamaran. Once there, you can explore the scenic island however you’d like for up to four and a half hours. Afterwards, we’ll take you back to Cairns via the stunning Great Barrier Reef.
